I love thinking about events in DOS2 in relation to the backstory I made up for Pecha that the game does not know or care about, like when I was playing through the lizard nightmare sequence I was like wow it must be emotionally fraught for her to be seeing her homeland like this for the first time since she was exiled as a child...to be going through it in fragments as a nightmare created by other lizards to protect someone important and still welcome among them back home and to know that once she leaves she will never be able to return to even this version of it...Meanwhile the game just has her saying little quips about the different areas because she's the one with the lizard tag in the party. Then again, in my backstory she grew into a jokester after being exiled because in her experience strangers tend to be warmer to her when they find her entertaining, so I can work with that too.
